Even before anything is written or shown about the documentary in the national media in the Netherlands, all of Italy will already know about it!
|
|
Because Rai 2 will be highlighting the remarkable fact that a special music box was made from Alfredo's film music and that it was also played from the Dom Tower in Utrecht, in the culture block of the national news.
|
|
Filming was already underway on the day of the premiere. The broadcast is expected in a few days. (Rob and Vincent get an Italian voice-over!:) Of course we will also share this news item on our channels.

END OF ROB'S SHOP AND STUDIO!
|
|
A few days after the premiere, Rob was told that the lease on his home and shop would end on September 1st. The owner is planning to renovate. This means that both the workshop (being demolished to make way for new housing) and the shop as seen in the film will no longer exist by then!
|
|
So Utrecht has essentially declared Rob an outlaw. And he's not losing any sleep over it; on the contrary, a new adventure awaits! Will it be Drenthe, Limburg, perhaps Belgium, or perhaps Italy? Anything is possible. The key is finding the right foundation where he can thrive and move forward. His woodworking studio is a natural fit for a community, an estate, an ecovillage, or a cultural heritage site being repurposed. Suggestions are welcome.
