I am leaving for the land of the Muses!
|
To quench my thirst at their source of inspiration on Mount Helicon! I also visit other sacred places, such as the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. Apollo... the Greek God of the Sun, Music, and Medicine! The Oracle of Delphi is also located there; perhaps she has another message for me from the Gods!

Is that really necessary, Rob? All the way to Greece? Don't the birds in the forest already give you enough inspiration? After all, aren't they the muses singing to you from the trees that stand like pillars in the forest that is your temple?

Yes, absolutely!! And especially in the Green Cathedral where I have ended up now, but more on that later!

But do you remember, the film made about Robin Wood, 'The Gold of the Sun', which premiered last year in, of all places, a 'Temple in honor of the Muses' (the literal meaning of 'Museum') Namely in the Museum Speelklok in Utrecht!

This film is now being screened, exactly one year later, in the midst of the mythological landscape of ancient Greece.
|
The Muses Film Award Festival in Levadia has included 'The Gold of the Sun' in its program and nominated it for Best Short Documentary, among others!

YouTube premiere
The filmmaker has decided to release the documentary on May 10, a year after the premiere. during sunrise (how original!) to publish on YouTube so that it becomes accessible to everyone! (also with English subtitles)

For, as he writes: ''The Gold of the Sun is not mine. This film belongs to all of you, to the fans of Robin Wood, to everyone who is in love with Utrecht, and to people with a heart for trees, music, wonder, and human connection.

We just received word that the film is likely screening at a festival in Madrid, and for that reason cannot be published online yet. So it might be postponed.
|
|
|
|
