An ode to the trees & the birds!
Robin Wood music boxes are made with love and in small quantities from local wood.
The second life of urban and regional trees that had to be felled.
So not anonymous wood, but wood with a story!
As the birds sang their serenades from the branches of the trees,
this is how the most beautiful melodies now sound in the wood of these trees, which have now become sound boxes.
For Rob, the music boxes are therefore 'An ode to the trees and the birds' and made to give to those you love!
Of course I make music boxes to make them sound! But sometimes boxes have to wait a very long time. In 2019,…

Music box Lude Manual with Robin. Elm from 1889. Amsterdam (Westerpark)
A very beautiful maternity gift that you can see was made with love. Rob is easy to reach, pays a lot of attention to you and really thinks along with you. Really very happy with it and this will certainly not be the last maternity gift I order from him. The enthusiasm of the recipients was also confirmation of this. Thanks Rob!! And for anyone who is still in doubt: don't do it, order because you won't regret it 🙂Beatrice
Mini Music Box Piccolo Manual. Oak from Amersfoort (Everard Meysterweg)
I received this music box on my 50th birthday in October 2021, posthumously from my sister. She died suddenly a month before my birthday, but she had already bought me this beautiful gift. We were both born on Everard Meysterweg (1970 and 1971). A beautiful gift with an enormous emotional charge.Esther

Music box Robin wind up with Tree of Life. Lebanon Cedar from Lanaken (near Maastricht)
In April this year I was blessed with the visit of my brother from Peru who survived cancer last year. During his trip we went to Utrecht on a weekday afternoon; there he was enchanted by the melody from Rob's studio. Unfortunately the shop was closed and we couldn't come back on the weekend. He left immediately afterwards and I was left somewhat sad. Last November I decided to travel to Peru for Christmas and I immediately knew what the perfect gift for my brother would be. I ordered the box and Rob was kind and thoughtful to prepare, engrave and care for the box before my trip. He is professional, an artist and above all a man who does his work with love. My brother is happy with his gift. Thank you Rob for making me and my family so happy.Mariella
